Surrey Falcons are hosting a FREE COME TRY HOCKEY event for girls either new to hockey or wanting to experience playing hockey with other girls (for birth years 2007 – 2013).

You’re invited to bring a friend if you wish! You just need to register in advance.

Date:  August 9, 2018
Place: Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex Rink #3
Time:  5:15 PM – 7:15 PM

Schedule:
5:15 – 6:00: Equipment Setup
6:00 – 7:00: On-ice session
7:00 – 7:15: Wrap-up and equipment return

Full hockey gear is required. Please borrow from someone you know. If you need to borrow ours, we will do our best to lend you some.  There will be a skate rental shop open at the same time to borrow hockey skates.

Required hockey gear list:

  • Helmet with face cage
  • Neck guard
  • Shoulder/Chest pads
  • Elbow pads
  • Jill (jock)
  • Hockey pants
  • Shin guards
  • Socks
  • Hockey gloves
  • Hockey skates
  • Hockey stick
  • Water bottle to squeeze or with a straw to drink from
